Lawyers
During 2019, Benchmark Metals Inc. (BNCH) acquired 100% of the Lawyers Claims through an arrangement with PPM. The company’s transfer of its Lawyers mineral claims to PPM Phoenix Precious Metals Corp. resulted in the company ultimately purchasing a 0.5% NSR on the Lawyers claims. The shareholders in the company owning equity shares in PPM ended up with BNCH shares in exchange for the PPM shares they held. BNCH has completed 87,000 meters of drilling at Lawyers in 2020 and expects to obtain a resource estimate by the end of the first quarter of 2021. A significant follow up drilling program is set for 2021.
Our NSR on Lawyers was sold in early 2022 to Royal Gold.
